I'm Larry Hite and I want your vote for Tracy City Council in 20

I have been a resident of

the city of Tracy for

11 years and a business owner for 8 years. The population has more than

doubled since I've lived here and Tracy

has transformed from a rural town on the east side of

the Altamont into the "Gateway" to the California central

valley. With these changes, comes a

great deal of responsibility on the part of the community planners and

leaders to strike a

balance between managing growth and meeting the social and economic needs of the families

that call Tracy home.

As a City Councilman, I will work to bring all interested parties and leaders in our community

together to

examine our future and plot a course that will not only manage growth, but will

make Tracy a desirable base for

business development, job opportunities, and recreational

interests. My goal will be to

challenge

the community

to come together to formulate solutions

rather than arguments, so we can move forward with a plan that will make

an already good

community a great one!

Some issues that I support here in Tracy for this year and years to come are:

		Construction of a new and improved Animal Shelter facility.
		Improvements to Police and Fire services to reduce response times and provide better overall emergency
		services to the entire city.
		Economic development plan to attract more business and retail establishments to broaden the tax base and
		create more local jobs.
		Continued support of downtown beautification and development plans.
		Family friendly programs and services.
		Decrease spending by reducing the use of outside consultants.
		Propose a City ordinance requiring the city sign an annual balanced budget.

I promise

"CLEAN CAMPAIGN".

I will

address the issues and concerns of the citizens of

Tracy and

not waste

your

time telling you why you shouldn't vote for my

opponents!

I promise to run a "GREEN CAMPAIGN".

If you're tired of getting your mailbox flooded with campaign

flyers and propaganda, you can be rest

assured

that my campaign will not be part of it. In an effort to run a more

environment friendly campaign, we will not print literature to be mailed this year. Instead, we will print

literature and only hand it out to those interested in receiving it, or print literature that we leave at your home on

recycled paper only!
